Why You Need to take a Break from your KidsPayton Foeller
I know we love our babies but we cannot pour into them if we have nothing left! We need breaks. We need chocolate and pedicures and spa days and shopping trips and to spend hours in TJ Max.
Tell your husband or your babysitter that it’s time.
Make a plan.
Put away the guilt.
And take a break.
Here’s why you need to stop feeling guilty:
Side note: we went, right decision, when it doubt go, she was sick, fine now, all is well.
There are big decisions ALL the time! That’s stressful. That’s the kind of pressure that will give you nightmares and ulcers! It’s stressful trying to teach them how to be good and educate them. It tough knowing when to have the stranger danger talk and when to tell them certain things! Raising humans is hard work.
And on top of all that hard work do you know how much sleep parents get? Not a lot.
You know what they do in their sleep when they do?
Worry. And have nightmares of something scary eating their precious children.
Moms, you work so hard. To love your littles is the most exhausting, awesome, scary, and exciting job you could ever have no matter if you’re home wiping noses and butts all day or working and coming home to do the same. You rock. So take a break. You’ve earned it, I promise.
Yes, God is sovereign and yes, He’s in control but that doesn’t mean these decisions are insanely difficult to make! Take a break. You’ve earned it.
