I suppose if your friends are any one or a combination of those things it would work too. It might be hard to find many people that fit all those things – but oh well; that’s what we’re doing. Here we go!
Turning 23 I fall victim to hipster syndrome on occasion. The latest trend that I am sooo in love with and just can’t leave it be like the non-hipster I aspire to; Succulents. I picked out my own birthday present this year and got an awesome geometric terrarium to re-pot a baby jade plant given to me by my awesome high school biology teacher! AND I bought four tiny planter globes to hang between our kitchen and living space. I think it will be a super fun project and a lovely piece to give the rooms a bit of division.
Now – I must say – although this is a trendy thing I can’t stop obsessing over – it’s virtually impossible to kill these plants! And that’s why I can’t move past them. I am TERRIBLE at keeping plants alive and I’ve had one of these since 2012!
OR! Get yourself or your friend the SNAIL MAIL Surprise box from me! Full of all my favorite things! (including lots you see here!
Yes – this is a made up word. But it’s super legit and sort of encompasses over half of the stuff I’ve been wanting to buy lately! Does everybody need a good but stylish desk chair!
My particular circle of mom-prenuing is in the ever expanding realm of Christian mom bloggers; a lot of which go on to write amazing books.
These are the top two on my list to read asap:
AND DUH! Cute office supplies and coffee cups!
Not gonna lie… I get LOST in this isle at TJmaxx. I want to flip through every journal, look at every desk organizer, and hold every coffee mug. Any girl would love these amazing trinkets!
I took a lot of yoga in college (when I had a scholarship and it was free – yoga classes are hecka-spensive). Sometimes I remember how awesome I was at it! Then I remember I was in there with mostly senior citizens (they get free classes too). I probably was only good in comparison. But in the new year, I decided I needed to take control of my schedule and that meant scheduling workouts. I now have them plugged into my calendar and they are not easily negotiable. I invited some friends to join me to keep me accountable and it’s going well so far!
Because of my new workout routine, I’m thinking about investing in this awesome super thin yoga mat! Andddd like the easily influenced person I am I am thinking about transitioning to all glass and stainless steel bottles and ditching the plastic … because it couldn’t hurt.
I recently cleaned out my closet – big time. I got rid of probably… half of my closet. I just wasn’t in love with it and most didn’t fit my shape because I have no idea how to dress like a normal adult. If your friend is like me THIS is the best gift you can get them to help them learn their style and find things they LOVE!
Okay! Now go get shopping!
Let me know what you would add for your twenty something friends!
